Recap: Art to the Rescue – A $58k Success

Art to the Rescue on April 15th was a huge success. The event raised $58,000, all going directly to Tiny Tim Rescue Fund and the Animal Care Centers of NY! That’s $13,000 more than the 2013 auction total. Hooray!

A few of the highlights:

  • Some adorable ACC mascots were in attendance:

  • VERY fancy, elaborate and tasty Gin and Tonics were provided by Indi Tonic and Wint Artisanal Gin.

Gin and Tonic

  • And we we lucky enough to win the bids on two of the stunning works we had our eyes on:

American Flag – John Morse

Antoine Rose, Spiagge Bianche Study 1

As a new company with the mission of helping artists succeed, we were really proud to participate in this event. We felt lucky to build and donate the auction site, which allowed people to bid on works of art both leading up to and during the event from their mobile devices.

And most importantly, we were able to contribute to two great causes: The Animal Care Center of New York provides shelter for over 30,000 dogs, cats, and rabbits every year. The only organization of its class in New York City, ACC is an open admission shelter, which means they cannot turn away any animals that come through their doors. And Tiny Tim, which works to provide resources for local shelters who pull innocent animals directly from high-kill shelters.

Congrats to Marlborough Gallery and Emmanuel Fremin Gallery for putting on such a successful and worthy event!
