ACCOMPLISH EVEN MORE WITH ORANGENIUS
Orangenius is so excited to announce some major updates and enhancements to our platform. We’ve been hard at work the past few months, adding the tools we think are essential to helping you manage the business of art.
Here are just a few of the important features we have added, and as always, stay tuned for the next round of site improvements and features!
Companies can post jobs and manage the entire process right within Orangenius. We have added all the fields employers need, from information about the job to salary requirements and location. Whether you’re a company looking for new creative talent, you can find it here. Post part-time, full time, freelance, whatever type of job you’re looking to fill. We also added automated emails that you can customize to communicate with applicants throughout the process. You can even save potential candidates and contact them for other jobs.
More importantly, through the end of 2017, companies can post unlimited jobs as part of their monthly $9 Pro membership fee.
Apply for Jobs
Orangenius members can search and apply for job opportunities posted by Orangenius member companies. Applying for jobs takes just a few clicks. Just attach your Orangenius Bio and one of your Portfolios to the application. If you want, you can add a cover letter, too.
You can customize portfolios specifically for an application and make them available only to the company. For all the details, see our portfolio tutorial!
We are actively working with recruiters and companies to fill Orangenius with lots of opportunities. If the job you want isn’t listed yet, don’t let that hold you back. Submit your Orangenius Bio and Portfolio to applications outside of Orangenius. If you are a Pro user, you can customize your URLs before you send them. Also, check out Artrepreneur for articles on preparing for a job application!
There’s so much you can do on Orangenius! So much, in fact, that it might be overwhelming. We want to make sure you get the most out of your Orangenius membership so we’ve added Video Tutorials to guide you through things like “Creating a Bio Summary,” “Working with Your Artwork Board,” and “Adding Contributors to your Artwork.”
Find out all the tips and tricks to get the most out of Orangenius on our Tutorials page.
Hide Prices in the Orangenius Marketplace.
You asked and we delivered. Now, if you want to keep the price of a work private in the Orangenius Marketplace, simply click the “show price” toggle to set the price to ‘On’ or ‘Off.’ If turned off, the price field will say “Upon Request” and interested parties can inquire. Just make sure you add your contact information by adding a URL to the Sales URL field.
Also, be sure you add a real price. Even though members can’t see it, the price will still be used when searching within a certain price range in the Orangenius Marketplace.
You can now hide titles too! Maybe you haven’t named your work yet or just want to be mysterious. Now you can hide the title while you think of the perfect name or until you want to show it to the world. Just click the “Hide” title toggle on your Artwork’s edit page.
Site Performance Improvements
We’ve made a host of other improvements to help increase performance. Our load times are faster, saving you more time and allowing you to handle the business of art quickly so that you can get back to creating. We’ve also added additional tooltips, as well as additional data entry fields in the Bio. Now every section has descriptions and an external URL field. Did someone write an article about you? Now you can describe it and link back to the article.
These are just a few of the many features we’ve added to this update. From new on-boarding to geolocation based search, we are diligently improving Orangenius so it can better help you to succeed. In our next update, you’ll be able to post your services, tell the world what you do, and attach your Bio and portfolios so they can see how well you do it.
In the meantime, check out the new features from this update and if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions that can help us make Orangenius even better, please send them to us by visiting our Contact page.
